JVVP's Science & Heritage Club was inaugurated on 20th June 2015 by the chief guest Dr. Uma shaankar from University of Agriculture Science Bangalore of GKVK. He inaugurated the club after the welcome speech by Varshini Krishna Mohan of X std. Hon Principal Mrs Lakshmi Murthy welcomed him by presenting a bouquet of flowers -Vaishnavi of VIIIstd gave a brief introduction of the guest. Mrs. Kavitha gave a brief account of the activities of the club for the year 2014-15 with a slideshow. Dr. Umashaankar gave a very interesting talk about lotus through a number of slides. His speech was very informative and encouraging to the budding scientists of JVVP. He was full of praise for the activities of JVVP's Science and Heritage club. Bharath of X std proposed the vote of thanks. Prathisha A.S Katanhth of X std added flavour to the programme by her anchoring.
