JVVP organized a two-days workshop for its teachers. The workshop was conducted in the A.V.Hall. Mr.Varada Murthy and Mrs. Nalina were the resource persons from ePeople First-Leadership Academy. The programme was interactive. On the first day, Principal Mrs. Lakshmi Murthy introduced the resource persons to the staff and talked about activity based learning. After that Mrs.Nalina taught few tunes which would help to kill the boredom in the class and to boost the studentsi motivational levels. Later all the teachers were split into four groups. Each group selected its group leader. The group leaders had to introduce their group members and name their groups. The group leaders were also asked to present their positive and negative traits. Brain teasers were given to test the mental ability of the teachers, points were given to score while performing these tasks. Later a balloon game was played by the four groups. Teachers from four groups competed to blast the other group balloons. It was entertaining. At the end of the day teachers were given a task to come orith positive goal setting which help the school atmosphere. Teachers were happy with the assignment task. 2nd day began with recap of the previous day and goal setting was the main topic of the day. Many teachers enthusiastically present their goals before their collegues. Resource person Mrs. Nalina felt happy about it. Teachers were briefed about the various types of personalities and temperaments of nature were described, relating it to humans. Teachers came to know about different personalities to understand the psychology of students. Later teachers were asked to draw the pictures from the poem read by her, to test their comprehension levels. Finally the four teachers groups were given zig-saw puzzles to solve. This activity was given to develop co-ordination, leadership and time management skills. The workshop was excellent. Mrs.K.Mahalakshmi thanked the resource person for such an effective inter-active and interesting session.
