The Talents day celebration of J.V.V.P. was held on 23.12.2010 at JSS Auditorium. Students from PreKG to IV std participated in various programmes. The function was a visual treat with folk and contemporary dances ranging from retro to modern. The parents were treated to a vibrant colourful program. The program began with the lightning of the lamp by our Chairman Sri.C.M. Goenka. The principal Smt. Lakshmi Murthy read the annual report of the school highlighting various academic and co-curricular activities of the school. This was followed by cultural programs. The cultural program began with an invocation dance on Lord Ganesha. The performances put up by the toddlers mesmerized one and all. The violin concert by Master Govinda Madhava of III std supported by Master Chennakeshava on mridangum enthralled the audience. The essence of the dance drama "Onake Obavva", evidently entrenched in the minds of all parents. The highlight of the program was the "Yakshagana", one of the folk dance forms of Karnataka. Nandikolu was performed by the students of III std.
